WHAT IS AN OVERAGE?
OVERAGES EXPLAINED
An "Overage" is the difference between what a home sells for at a foreclosure auction and what was owed on the home at the time of the auction. Most people don't know this but when a home is sold for more than what is owed on it, that "overage" is actually owed to the previous owner of the home. In most cases when the previous owner does not come forward and claim the funds, the government gets to keep the money. It's in the best interest of the government for you not to know about these funds or claim them. But we want to help YOU!

ABOUT US
Elite Overage Recovery was launched by childhood best friends, Ben Janes and Tev Pflepsen, with the desire to help families who are going through the difficult process of foreclosure. Both of them have personal experiences with seeing friends go through the foreclosure process and just how hard it can be. Their desire is to be a blessing to those they help and hopefully provide a silver lining in what can typically be a very hard time. They bring their training, expertise, and passion together to help give you the best shot at recovering the most money possible, in the quickest amount of time, with the least amount of hassle!
Frequently asked questions
Am I entitled to money?
That's a great question! If we've reached out to you personally, we believe you are entitled to what could be a substantial amount of money.
If you've looked up this website on your own and are unsure of whether or not you're owed money, just simply reach out and we can look into that for you!
Where does the money come from?
The excess funds (Overage) we are working to recover come from the sale of your home at a foreclosure auction. If the overall debt on your previous home is less than the price the home sold for, you are entitled to those excess funds! If the funds are not recovered by you, in most cases, the money is kept by the government. The window of time to recover the funds varies state to state, so give us a call and we can start recovering your funds immediately!
How soon can I get paid?
It typically takes between 90-120 days to process the claim and recover the funds. However, it varies from case to case. We will work as fast as we can to get you paid as quick as possible.

Is this a scam?
We understand this sounds a little too good to be true. However, at the end of the day there is NO RISK to you! We'll never ask you for a credit card, cash, or check. Worst case scenario is we get your paperwork filed, submit everything, and we find out there are not any funds to be recovered (which is very rare). Yes, that would be unfortunate, but at that point you're still out NOTHING and you don't owe us anything!

Are there any upfront costs?
The answer is NO! We front all the costs for attorney fees, filing claims, etc. None of this costs you anything upfront! We simply receive a portion of the funds recovered with the majority going to you! We only get our portion AFTER the work is done and the funds have been recovered!
Can I do this myself?
Short answer, yes you can. However, the question is, where would you start? There are piles of government records to dig through to determine if you're owed money and how to get it. If you're up for doing all the research, filing claims, as well as paying attorney fees and other costs, you can do it yourself. That being said, we would love to handle all of that for you, with absolutely no up front cost, and get you the maximum amount of financial compensation that you are entitled to receive by law. Because after all it's YOUR MONEY!
